Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is a 2013’s epic fairy tale journey hailed by critics when it was originally released, and created by an award-winning game director, Josef Fares, and talented developer, Starbreeze Studios.

Now, this beautiful tale filled with discovery, loss, adventure, and mystery is back and coming soon to GOG in the form of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake!

With their father suffering from a deadly illness, you’ll once again guide two brothers, who must bravely set out to find the “Water of Life,” the one cure that can save him. With no option for failure the brothers must rely on each other using their individual skills to protect one another and overcome the obstacles ahead in this unforgettable journey.

The Remake remains faithful to the gameplay and touching story from 2013, while featuring rebuilt characters and landscapes based on the original. It has been updated to the latest generation of graphics, performance, and gameplay. Paired with a re-recorded soundtrack with a live orchestra, prepare for an emotional experience that will take your adventure to all new heights.

Expect to solve puzzles, discover hidden stories, traverse dangerous locations, and fight deadly bosses. In single-player mode, navigate this story as both brothers in tandem or play in local co-op with a friend, each controlling one of the brothers as you play together.

Wishlist the game now and be prepared to immerse yourself in the emotion world full of hidden details that reward those who seek them out.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake – soon on GOG!

The other 900 games in my backlog are a mistake too so I must be a sinner :)

Thats shitehawk talk.

MarkoH01: (...) Imo the fact that you control both brothers at the same time is absolutely crucial to the experience and to the message the game wants to convey (...)
I fully agree with you.

Give me concrete examples, if not.
Also, name at least one game that has revolutionised the industry in the last three years of the decade that has become a role model for the entire industry.

I love that game... but I very much doubt it needed a remake... I would have loved a "sequel" though...

You keep on using the term "industry" as if you are a part of it.
WHY ?

The game will have the same excessively sad ending as the original one.

They could have made a sequel where the older brother comes back to life.

Seriously? Seriously.

Come on. At least edit out the spoiler, please.

No sequels and no "sequels". Full stop. :)

That would be pretty disgusting and an insult.

SargonAelther: The only related Quakes are 2 and 4.
Also Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, but it's multiplayer-only and I don't think many people play now.

He is part of the "industry" though. As consumers we all are.
It's a great game, but I hope it has an incredible good discount at release because people won't pay too much for a story based game, with redone graphics.

Please edit your posts and quotes - this is completely spoiler teritory and will ruin the game for everybody who did not play it yet (yes, those people do exist).

Edit: Thank you all ... @sasuke12: we're only waiting for you now. Please be fair to users that haven't played the game yet.

Was this crying out for a remake? A remaster of the original would have been much more straightforward.

I meant something else like it, I liked the "puzzle game with two characters" gameplay.
