Prepare yourself to conquer the Old World in this historical, epic strategy game from Soren Johnson, Lead Designer of Civilization IV and Offworld Trading Company. Old World is coming soon to GOG.COM
Looks really interesting especially since Civ V still has not come here yet so might be a good replacement.
Hm, I ask myself, if this will run on a i7 3770?
Interesting, especially that it will be released already with an expansion. Was it in Early Access till this time?
Will be on a lookout.
Certainly interested! Soren Johnson did a superb job as lead designer of Civilization IV. I didn't expect Old World to have a DRM-free release, so it's a nice surprise.

It is an Epic exclusive for now (released on July 1st 2021) and it was on Epic as Early Access before (since May 5th 2020).

If someone hasn't watched the trailer till the end, the game will come to GOG (and Steam) in Spring 2022, along with expansion campaign.

As i was really really disappointed by CIV6 i will definitely keep this in my sight and maybe it will be able to replace CIV4/5 for me.
Wonderful news! Old World has received a better review and overall score by PC Gamer than Sega/Amplitude's Humankind which I would wish could also be released here, if only SEGA san would finally decide to budge... :)
A more focused in time civiization type of game, the designer of Civ IV, an interface design closer to Civ V, and inspiration from Crusader Kings features. pretty interesting.

That processor is 4 core hyperthreaded 3.4Ghz + turbo (3rd gen)

Minimum processor requirements are Core i5-6400 (6th gen)

That is a 4 core non-hyperthreaded 2.7GHz + turbo. by a slightly greater amount.

Although the 6th generation processor is slightly more faster on a per clock basis, the hyperthreading and higher clock speeds of your processor would make it faster.

So yes it will run.
I can't say how well though.

On the other hand, If you are asking whether it will run on the i7 3770's integrated graphics? The answer is almost certainly no, unless of course you are happy with a resolution of 16 pixels by 9 pixels.
Even though I won't be playing it, still makes me happy to see it coming to GOG as this store lack modern 4x games.
30 minutes and you still haven't fixed your news link.

Doesn't work and redirects to:

I guess this is why you guys always stealth release things.
Ever consider fixing your forum, or letting the person know that posts the news articles it's broken?
good news. wishlisted
Consider me piqued.
Will the game have a skirmish mode or map randomization?
