Now, we have something for our dear retro fans, going back straight from the 2000s – Boiling Point: Road to Hell is coming soon on GOG!

Originally launched in 2005, Boiling Point: Road to Hell has made a return. Take a trip down memory lane to explore this early trailblazer in the open-world roleplaying FPS genre. The story follows Saul Myers, a seasoned veteran of the French Foreign Legion. When he learns that his daughter has been abducted in the fictional South American nation of Realia, Saul embarks on a daring rescue mission.

Saul's journey unfolds in the Realian Valley, a diverse landscape comprising lush tropical jungles, rural farms, quaint villages, and opulent estates. As he traverses this terrain, Saul must confront a series of perilous situations involving corrupt politicians and criminal organizations, all in his relentless pursuit to discover his daughter's whereabouts.

SCPM: Excellent, I love this game. :) And I see Wesp5 of V:TMB's fame has uploaded an unofficial patch earlier this year for this game as well:

Edit: And here's hoping we get Precursors and Xenus 2: White Gold here as well.
Not sure if that's the case with BP, but both Xenus 2 and Precursors required downloading voice packs from the internet - otherwise there was deafening silence.

I often heard of this game as a buggy open-world FPS with a huge map, tons of factions and missions.
An interesting release for me, I admit !

Mean.Jim: I still have this on disk. I always wanted to re-play it because I never finished it. I got side tracked going stuff like running guns for people and completely forgot I was supposed to be looking for my daughter. Worst dad ever.
I still also have this on disk. Bought it from a Big Lots way back in the day, when I used to always scour them for older PC games dirt-cheap - i.e. like $10 and under.

One of the really early open-world shooter-RPG's, ever before STALKER SOC and Far Cry 2.

It was good, but really buggy and not-that-stable.

I'll be curious if on GOG, if it comes w/ Official Patch 2.0 (UK Patch) and also Wesp's Patch, since Wesp's Patch does come with VTM Bloodlines.

Gonna probably buy it when the game comes here if the price won't be over 25 eu
Also i wonder what kind of fixes will the game get.
There will be a 10% release discount with GOG extending their discount through November 20th as part of a weeklong Ziggurat Publisher Sale.

Hopefully, it hits GOG soon; maybe even in less than an hour?
