I was hoping for a new title, but I wouldn't mind if owners of the classic get it for free like it was for the 3D games in the series.
Maybe this forthcoming release is the reason why they had raised the price of classic?

Also, I might go for the new easy difficulty for a replay, the original difficulty is not impossible but can get frustrating.

I suppose I should buy the original in case it gets removed.

Wow, looks like Wayforward is finally breaking their long-standing history of treating GOG customers like second-class citizens via denying Achievements to all of their GOG releases.

I wonder what happens to people who bought the complete Blood Rayne bundle, which won't be so complete any more if they don't receive this new version as a free upgrade.

Wow, didn't see this coming, also didn't realize this game was ten years old.... it's aged rather well.

And its on sale right now so best get it on sale if you do

TBH it's a cute and challenging linear platformer, but consider that I got it originally for 1.09 € and now it's on sale for 6 times that.

Is this gonna be a free upgrade for old owners? Anyone know?

Indeed, what bugs me is that no controls improvement is mentioned. That is what would benefit the game most. As said in post 6, its toon graphics hadn't aged badly at all.

I wonder what will happen with BloodRayne Complete Bundle, will it be updated, removed or remained the same but "an incomplete bundle" in reality.

I didn't expect this game to receive a new version, but i'm very happy with it. I love most WayForward games.

The system requirements have risen quite a bit compared to the original.

My first thought was: "hopefully they add a slomo-option to make it more playable"
Then I read the last line of the storepage: "New difficulty options: Play with a newly rebalanced difficulty tuned for a fun and engaging experience".

Can't wait for the release :)

And btw: bring that brilliant soundtrack here please (mp3 + nsf) ;-)
