From the teaser the game looks beautiful.
To the wish list.
Thanks, GOG!
Looks fantastic, looking forward welcoming the game to my collection!
Is it me, or do the graphics look a bit... I don't know, out of focus? Fuzzy?

Other than that it looks nice. Not as nice as Ghost of a Tale, but I feel some Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents vibes, or maybe Secret of NIMH?

Aaah, Ghost of a Tale, one of my favorite indie games! I just hope we'll see the sequel here when it will be released!
Hello everyone!

And another one of those small rodents protagonists! I am very intrigued by this one, but I still have not played neither "Ghost of a Tale" nor "The Spirit and the Mouse". (Where is my gaming time...)

Nonetheless, keep them coming, for I love games with the miniature perspective, even more so when it revolves around authentic looking living spaces.

Kind regards,
foxgog

(I do agree with Breja though, the images look a little out of focus and a heavy use of bloom--I hope, we will be able to tune it down a little or even turn off.)

[Edit:]
And the fur shader reminds me of "Shadow of the Colossus", where I first saw it applied in a similar way.

I don't know, in my case I don't see any out of focus, but it could be the video teaser.

Great, I knew absolutely nothing about The Amazing Maurice. The trailer for the film looks fun. Doing some research the film was released in the USA last February, but in my country (at least I didn't notice it being promoted). A pity. Maybe the cinema release will be postponed until the end of the year, I don't know.

On the other hand, I remember Secret of NIMH. It's a pity that the industry no longer makes films that are so good, so magical, so entertaining.

Finally, Ghost of a Tale is also a very beautiful game with very enjoyable gameplay. I have yet to finish it =P

Anyway, I won't go on any longer with this post. I hope you're feeling well, @Breja and come by the forum more often, please. A hug! ;)

The film is fine, but the book is fantastic (and quite a bit darker). One of my favorite Terry Pratchett novels, and that's saying a lot. The movie is nice, and considering how hard it is to adapt Pratchett's writing I think that's already a laudable achievement, but it's still a bit shallow compared to the original, and it's a pity the animation is so generic. Also, getting Emilia Clarke to voice a pre-teen girl is one of the worst example of "celebrity voice casting" I've ever seen. Though to be fair Hugh Laurie as Maurice is great.

Anyway, I definitely recommend reading the book before you see the film.

This sort of reminds me of "Stray", except with a Rat, instead of a Cat.
Rat protagonist... Insta-wishlisted! Got a soft spot for playing as an animal in video games. ;) Why am I suddenly feeling guilty for letting Ghost Of A Tale collect dust in my backlog bookshelf? :(

It's not just you. While watching the game trailer, I immediately touched my face thinking I had forgotten to put on my glasses. Image looked fuzzy to me too. Almost as if a video filter of the "glowy" variety had been applied to it.

When I saw the promo picture, my first thought was that it was adapted from this story.
This looks really charming, I remember being sad that Ghost of a Tale ditched combat early in development so this might scratch that itch.

I'm glad they did. Makes the game feel a bit more special to me, the protagnist more vulnerable. Besides, you still can kill the giant spiders in the underground :) I'm always looking for fantasy games that feel like The Hobbit - so not too grim, with a "small" protagonist in a big world, no becoming a demi-god by the end, little or no combat etc. and Ghost of a Tale is just about the best I ever found.
HELLO GOG.com I'm Jameel Perkins asking is it possible to use any Elgato to play games towards GOG.app to stream online CO OP ?
HELLO BERJA I'm Jameel Perkins asking is it possible to use a ELGATO HD60X to play yes or no ?

Oh don't get me wrong, I think the mechanics in Ghost were perfect for the game as it was and I would not change them one bit. There's just part of me always likes being able to beat things up as a cute, fuzzy protagonist and I'm glad someone else did it. :)
