I've just started playing another MM7 playthrough and tried out the GOG Galaxy cloud save feature to work between my gaming laptop (for travelling) and my desktop PC. Everything was well and good. PC uploaded properly and my laptop, which had a physical backup (USB Stick with the latest save files) worked alright. Then i went back to my desktop, after about 7 hrs of gameplay, expecting it to be updated properly... Well there goes a good chunk of two evenings playing MM7. Its pretty damn frustrating to see, how the GOG Galaxy cloud save just takes the desktop version, OVERWRITES the laptop version and then goes on as "works as intended".

I didn't backup my save files from laptop to desktop, because i thought it'd work.

Beware, that this is not the case and pretty damn annoying.
