Hello - while playing the game crashes with the following message:

Close Combat Internal Error

Close Combat encountered an internal error at address 0x41BB9B and will now exit

Game Version 2000.2.10.1


Please any help to fix this. Much appreciated!

I am having problems with Close Combat IV. It shows an internal error and crashes. Any fixes?

Coiuldnt find a post on that forum that directly answered the question. Since I have the same bug I assume the game is just glitchy and shouldn't be purchased?

I would suggest posting in the Close Combat series forum and also creating a GOG support ticket.

Earlier I looked around online and found a few examples of errors like these on various CC games. I followed one thread on Steam where a Slitherine developer responded and asked for game files. I'm uncertain what came of the interaction. But, if you have a Steam account it may be worth creating a thread on that forum as well.

If you don't find any answers, I would probably suggest emailing the developer directly.
