3 new great games are coming soon to GOG: Spark in the Dark, D.I.G - Deep In Galaxies and Beyond Shadowgate!

Spark in the Dark is a hardcore dark fantasy dungeon crawler where you will go to the endless depths of a mysterious grim dungeon. Expect 5 classes of heroes each with unique skills, bloody battles with monstrous creatures and deadly traps, a lot of interactions with the environment, many secret places, deep and intricate lore, and more!

D.I.G - Deep In Galaxies is a co-op 2D platformer and an action roguelike title. Prepare to dig your way through different planets while you shoot, loot and blow things up. Bounce around while slashing enemies with your axe, shoot giant bullets, heal yourself on every kill, get overpowered and make everything go boom!

Beyond Shadowgate is an adventure and exploration point & click game based on the original design of the 8-bit hit Shadowgate from over 30 years ago. It offers 200+ rooms of adventure, 180+ different ways to die, 150+ objects in which to interact, 100+ puzzles to solve, 20+ NPCs inhabiting the lands, and 3 Game Endings to experience!

Make sure to wishlist those upcoming gems so you won’t miss their release or any special offers!

Nice! Agree about the Macventure games too; bring them for people please.

Catventurer: Spark in the Dark wishlisted.

Beyond Shadowgate looks interesting, but why does it need an internet connection?
If I had to guess, it's another case of just copy-pasting the Steam requirements. Hopefully the staff change it.

Kasper...: Is it soon as in, actually soon, or as in "Dawn-of-War and Endless" soon?
They're probably stripping out steamworks & replacing it with gog or epic networking code for a cross-store release.

I fully agree. When GOG recently released Uninvited I thought the games would be coming here only to be disappointed when realizing it wasn't the game I thought it was.

Great to see Beyond Shadowgate being confirmed for a release here.

I hope it's just a remnant of inattentive/lazy copy/paste, as nothing about the game suggests that it's needed for anything.

And I second EnforcerSunWoo (post #10), though I'm inclined to say that if they were to come here it'd have happened already.

I think GOG might be more willing these days to unreject things, like how they brought various (what I assume were) previously rejected games from Fulqrum and Funbox months / a year+ back. (I take slight credit for kickstarting that by suggesting them a few times and in at least one chat with a blue, as some of the games had quite a few wishlist votes.)

That said, they don't seem to have sold well on Steam and aren't particularly well-rated. But I may go ahead and create a separate thread encouraging GOG to un-reject them.

They need to not do that. It makes people suspicious when it's a single-player game but has an Internet connection requirement.

ciemnogrodzianin: Spark in the Dark looks awesome – for me it feels like the first Diablo atmosphere years ago :)
Isn´t that actually that Kickstarter game Exanima, which sported similar way of combat, but than vaporwared into oblivion?
This totally looks like it, as if they were able to finish it.

It's still in dev. Development goes well and game updates are quite solid but... they come at a veery slow pace, 1-2 years can easily pass between one and the next.
I hope to see Exanima finished some day before I get old, but I wouldn't say the same of Sui Generis (A bigger, open-world game based on the same engine, of which Exanima was meant to be more of a prologue...)

kai2: Had watched some Spark in the Dark a few months back. Glad it's coming to GOG!

But first I have to play Exanima!
I thought the the game looked familiar.I tried Examina on mobile ...if Spark is that similar i might pass ....
Beyond Shadowgate looks like my kind of thing .. set to notify :D.

Speaking again about Spark in the Dark...

There's a demo you can scratch somewhere else

I
I wouldn´t call that well and solid development.
That game should have been done long time ago.

I'll give that a whirl. Thanks for that.
