I have a red notification beside 'My Account' button which says I have 1 unread chat. I've been through all my chat screen and there is not an unread chat anywhere. I've shut down my browser, refreshed my account and even tried the getting rid of the purple dot suggestion, none of which have helped. Also nothing is showing up under the bell icon, that is showing 0.

Any idea how I can clear this?

EDIT: Would you believe this, it just cleared up all by itself, it just suddenly disappeared so crisis over! :)

Yeah, so far, I've always managed to get rid of the dot next to the account name.

But you can still enjoy the permanent dot next to the Community tab like everyone else :)

You can get rid of it, but it will reappear again the moment someone posts in one of the threads you are active in.

I can't. Even using the script to clear it, it comes back within a couple of minutes at best, without even getting a reply.

Use the script directly on https://www.gog.com and it should work. Had the same problem when I was running it from the forum pages a while back.

For once the purple dot was not the problem but at least the problem is now sorted - long may that continue :)

Did that a couple of minutes ago and it's back already.

Time to call an exorcist, I guess :P.
