I purchase Deus Ex: Mankind Divided a while ago and I want to upgrade to Digital Deluxe Edition
but the price didn't reduced when I already owned the standard game.

It's a bit strange GOG doesn't have that feature

Frostpunk also got that issue

GOG has upgrades, but not for DE:MD. Go ask Square Enix about it, I guess.

There is no upgrade per se from Standard to Deluxe Edition, is there?
And the Deluxe Edition is 85% off right now (€6,79).
How much more cheaper do you want it to be?

Feel free to vote for the relevant community wishlist entry:
Discount from bundles/GOTY etc if basegame/DLCs are already owned

Unfortunately not. There is the Season Pass DLC (which is included in the Digital Deluxe Edition) but that is missing the "Desperate Measures" in-game mission and the Covert Agent Pack. These two items only come with the Digital Deluxe Edition and cannot be bought seperately.

Yeah, I've seen it.
I mean, €6,79 isn't that bad a price for the game. Given that the Season Pass alone is €2,99 already.
And we don't know what the OP paid for the Standard Edition...maybe that was also highly discounted, so "paying double" won't hurt as much.

Can't speak for the OP, but obviously the correct price would be deluxe edition price - normal game price = upgrade price.

Of course, it's never that simple as often normal games can be more expensive than deluxe versions during sales, and normal + upgrade doesn't always equal deluxe prices.

But at least in theory the upgrade price is very easy to find out.

It's also a bit confusing why we even need special upgrade products, as all deluxe versions could automatically work as upgrade versions for those who already own the base game, with price adjusted accordingly.

OP is better off with the €6,79 then, because €45 - €30 = €15
;)

Edit: I just checked: I bought the Standard Edition for €4,50. If the OP bought for the same or a comparable price...

Sadly some games don't offer an upgrade option.
That's always a bummer. No one should have to buy a game twice to get bonus contents.
