I was trying to buy a game to gift to a friend but when i go to checkout it says that gifting hasn't been enabled on my account, is there a way to enable it?

I remember something about only being possible gifting if you use paypal unless you had purchase something for yourself previously.

Edit: Weird, can't seem to find that information, i think i'm confusing with something else.

Registration date means next to nothing -- a lot of people create accounts solely to redeem a freebie, or a gift code from someone else, or even to ask a question in the forums. I'm sure there are even people who created an account and then wound up doing none of those things, nor making any purchases.
