I tried posting to GOG Galaxy 2.0 forum and it didn't seem to work. I wonder if this post will even post successfully.

What's the matter?

Not a link, but a thread, whoops.
I tried posting here:

Were you posting a new thread or replying to an existing one?

Also, were you quoting other posts? If you're not careful with the quote tags and one of them is not closed correctly, your message will not be posted.

As InkPanther mentioned, new users can't post (external?) links, but you've already discarded that one.

Did you get an error message or did it look like your browser was indefinitely trying to load a new page, without success?

The forum can get quite buggy sometimes so perhaps you've discovered a new bug.
