It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

227: What do you mean by "wipe clean"? I've had a problem lately where the login box disappears, but the gray overlay persists and nothing happens after entering login details. If that's what's happening to you, the only solution is to refresh the page and keep trying until it actually works. Usually takes me 2-3 attempts.

Their forums have been plagued with all kinds of weird errors lately for some reason.

Rainwalker207: I'll try to explain it a little better. I get to the Witcher forum, top of the screen says "you are not logged in", so I click that and get a pop-up box (identical to GOGs) that requests my email and password and a green button that you click when the information is entered. So I type in my email, type in my password, then when I click the green button the email address and password that I just entered just dissapear from the boxes that they were entered in (no message like incorrect email or incorrect password). Tried to reset password, but the login screen won't accept my email.

Just really wierd, I was using the Witcher forum for about 2 weeks when I first started Witcher 3 (its' a great forum for any question you might have for any of the Witcher games), and everything worked fine. Started some threads with typical noob questions, and one technical issue, and while I can see the replies, I can't respond or start a new thread because I can't login.

Tried cruising different threads to see if anyone there was having login problems, or if there was down time due to maintenace of the site, but I didn't find anything.

I appreciate you people responding, since it's not really a GOG issue.
I can help you with that problem. Somewhere along the line the Witcher forum from CD Projekt Red and GOG received a unified login so that you need only one account on GOG to post on both forums. That's why you see a GOG login prompt when you try to login to the Witcher forum.

If your GOG login works here but not on the Witcher forum there can only be one culprit: The privacy/security settings on your browser. You need to configure the privacy or security setting (wherever that setting can be found in your browser) to allow using third-party cookies. That is needed because the login cookie comes from a different domain than the website you are using.

On Firefox that would be: Go to Tools->Options->Privacy. Make sure there is a checkmark on 'Accept cookies from sites' and set 'Accept third-party cookies' to 'Always'.

Yes! Geralt, I always knew you were a genius! It was related to the unified login as you stated, AND the fact that I was blocking all 3rd party cookies in my browser (MS Edge in Win 10). So I changed the setting to allow cookies, and now I can login with the same email/password as I have in GOG. I also had to change it on my older computer using Win 7 & IE as my browser.

After years and years of using Win 7 & Internet Explorer, I got a new computer that only came with Win 10 and Edge. Still getting used to the new way to make changes, but I will say that I hate Win 10 compared to Win 7, and Edge is just..., well to say it politely, it's the worst browser I have ever used. Hopefully, I can get rid of Edge and go back to Explorer or Firefox.

Again, Geralt, I thank-you. May your swords stay sharp and the wine flow freely.

And may he concoct Man Venom oil in the presence of medieval wenches and strumpets.
