The title I am trying to redeem will not go through. It tells me that "something went wrong, try to reload". I've done this umpteen times to no avail. Anyone else experience this? I am not getting any response from "support" either.
From where did you got the code that you are trying to redeem?

Please note that you must own the base game on GOG in order to purchase or redeem a DLC for it.
You would be presented with a warning message about this in Checkout, and the only way to actually make such a purchase would be to buy a gift code. That being said, this gift code would not be redeemable on an account that does not have the base game on it.
I apologize for the unclear error message in /redeem/, though.

I have also found the ticket which you created an hour ago, and have replied to it with some additional information.
Hello, I recently bought a code for Rise of the Triad 2013 from g2a.com, and when i tried redeeming it on both the website and the client, it kept failing, on both. Unable to redeem code, please help.....

g2a.com is no legit source to get codes as was pointed out many times by GOG staff members. They got them probably through fraudulent means.

The only legit source IS GOG or sometimes Groupees and Humble Bundle.

Oh , what a waste of money :( . I only bought it there coz it was cheaper. Sad to know.
I still don't get how G2A can pull this crap. If they want to sell those codes fine but they should have to be clear they are a not a legit GOG seller.

It is a poker, you might get a code that goes through. Sometimes GOG will claim the game back later and will purge it from your library. I recommend buying games here - wait for a sale and then get the games you want. Furthermore they will then be probably cheaper than g2a.com.

edit: Let me look up how much I paid for Rise of the Triad 2013 here. 0 €, it was a free game, probably paired with a sale as a benefit for buying games..

Sorry to hear the code did not work.

GOG typically has two big sales a year in the summer and winter, and a good portions of the games are at a discount. Sometimes it is 10% other times it can be over 50%, with usually the older games having the bigger discounts. Usually every weekend will be some type of sale as well, though it is limited in scope.

There are lots of friendly posters here in the forum as well that are always willing to help.

Why not create an account, and then wait for sale, or hang out in the forum? We are always happy to welcome new members.

Make a chargeback ASAP. If you used Paypal it should be extremely easy to get your money back. If you used a credit card, you'll have to go through your bank, but it should be easy too.

I think it was one of those "we're giving away 1500 copies of Rise of the Triad 2013 to help promote a sale" type thingies, but I could be wrong.
Doesn't G2A only do Steam keys and not GOG keys?

What do you mean by "failing"? What was the message it gave you when your attempts to redeem the code failed?

The others are right that you can't count on codes bought on key resale sites like G2A to be from legit sources, but there might be other reasons why it didn't work.
And even if it was flagged as fraudulently-obtained and invalidated, you should still be able to get your money back if you contact G2A.

Mostly right. There was a limited number of copies (which were gone in less than an hour, IIRC), but if memory serves, it was to promote the new patch which introduced Crossplay functionality to the game; I know it wasn't during any special sale event, anyway.

They're a gift code reseller market. I know they traffic in GOG codes, and I imagine they also have codes/keys for most other digital game stores that allow gift purchases. I don't know firsthand, though, as I don't use those sites. =)

You mean like the account he was trying to redeem that gift code to, and that he used to make this topic? =D

Good point! I deserved that! Time to put down the games and get some sleep....
