Saint Genesius: Oh, the irony. I'm sure it's not coincidence, but I just got a friend invite from someone I blocked previously. Is there anyway to block friend invites from a specific person? Apparently, the block I did before works only on chat.
No back in the olden days there was a gui on here - tinyP(?) - he used to send me d!ck p!x all the fxxxing time and couldn't block him. It's what drove me to leave GOG for a while, hopefully they banned him.

Saint Genesius: Well, I reported the constant invitations to GOG, but I'm not too hopeful.

Friend invite problem has been resolved. The person I was trying to add looked at their privacy settings and now it worked. Thanks to everyone for the help, especially HunchBluntley.
No problem. Glad it was a simple solution (and that at least one thing on GOG works as intended :P ).
While I'm certain there are (possibly, theoretical) benefits to be obtained from online "friends", I find it much better to activate all privacy settings to "Nope".

Except for the wishlist. All should be permitted to experience my refined¹ wisdom².

¹subject to interpretation.
²see footnote 1.
1. click + invite new friend

2. enter the user name of your pending friend

3. click accept

Hope this helps
There used to be a Menu option to accept invites, that seems to be gone now.

Have several invites I can do nothing with.
