I own Cyberpunk both on GOG and steam. I wanted to support CDPR and couldn't refund the steam version because its past 15 days.

So I might as well play it on GOG and give the Steam version to my brother.

I didnt sync steam with GOG galaxy.

Question is: Can I play both versions separately and if anyone had the same game on both platforms had an issues before.

I'm not an expert in computers and gaming so my question might sound silly.

Yes you should be able to. Even if you have any issues with Galaxy vs Steam integration, for the GOG version you still have the option of the offline / backup installers that will work without interfering with your Steam account.

I believe you can refund cyberpunk on steam because the game is not even released yet. you have 15 days to refund the game after it launches unless you have over 2 hours of playtime.
