I had tried buying a game with a pre-paid debit card. The payment didn't go through. I read something on the support page about europe not taking U.S pre-paid cards. Is this true that pre-paid cards do not work on gog? Please let me know in the comments for any help! Thanks!
Short answer is no.
Long answer is, the company is located in Poland and they run their credit through another country. Since american orepaid cards are not meant for international payments. That is why they all fail.

Can you modify the card to perform this task? Yes. Is it safe to do so? No! Why? You require social security and bank information with a sketchy company that distributes the cards, that have no interest in your safety.

Is there any way to exchange cash to digital credit in the usa to europe? Yes. Is it easy? No. Will I explain how? No. Why? Because the experience is like jerking off with sandpaper.
So much for land of the free and "private business".
Someone needs to set up a bank for the yanks in Europe and vice versa to make trade easier without this nonsense.

I agree that gog needs to fix this known issue about prepaid cards. Do you know if gog accepts community feedback or idea submissions?
While I am in Canada and not the United States, I have successfully used prepaid VISAs to purchase from GOG in the past. As the support article suggests, not all prepaid cards support online/international transactions. You should confirm whether the card does before purchasing it.

You should also make sure to register your name and address to the card before using it for online purchases. Many online vendors check not only the card number and CVV, but whether the other information you provided matches, and will decline a transaction if it doesn't, or if no name/address is registered in the first place. There will usually be a link to where you can register the card printed on the back of the card, or sometimes in the paper packaging that comes with the card.

Well the card did say that you could register in case if it was lost or something like that
