I played it so long ago I hardly remember it. It came as an extra with another game (Possibly Fallout?) Not Planescape torment but a different one. It was a fantasy RPG. The artwork was good for that time. You played as a guy who latter turns out to be a reincarnation of a great sorcerer. As you play you get this fortress/workshop with other characters who do stuff for you. There's a tree guy and an alchemist, forget who else. There's a stuck up NPC who runs a store and later gets taken over by a crystal or some other cursed object and you have to save him. There's a vampire you fight. I want to say it was something like Necronominon, but obviously not that because that's the satanic bible. but it was Necro something or other...?

I know that's vague but if anyone has any idea, please let me know.

I thought Necronomicon was Cthulhu, not Satan?

Do you have any other information about this game? What platform was it for (Windows 95, Dos, etc.)? What year do you think it was released (or your best guess)? Did the game appear visually similar to Fallout and Planescape Torment, or was it something else that made you mention those games?

Remember, the more information you provide the greater the possibility that someone can identify this mystery game.
well I can't say because I haven't played it, but Soulbringer's probably known as "the game that came packed in the jewel case with Planescape Torment". (like how there was a jewel case for FO1/FO2 back in the day) so maybe that's what you're thinking of?

Indeed. It's also fictitious, as in, it doesn't actually exist. It's just a made-up book that is mentioned in many of H.P. Lovecraft's stories. It has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with satanism.

Alright, that's what I thought, but I wasn't certain.

Thank you.

You know, it's really sad how so many of his books seem to be out of print and thus very expensive. I'd certainly be interested in getting all of Giger's artworks between two covers.
