It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Either text or an app like Authy and Google 2 Step authentication it would help protect people's accounts.
We've been asking for that for months (if not years). I'm sure there is already a wishlist entry for it, add your vote to it.

EDIT - Yup, there is:

I'm all for it but only as long as its completely optional.

Please don't force me to have a Google account if I don't want to.
Please don't ask me for my phone number if I don't want you to call me.
Voted and yea optional is best.
I agree that hving a 2FA here wld help, especially 4 preventing accounts from being hacked. Even if it's not implemented, a simple email verification sent 2 the 'old' email & requirement 2 activate the link in the email b4 any changes can be made wld be particularly useful.

Both options would be great. :)
Only if optional and turned off by default (and no stupid reminders like in Google).
Well, they've already taken one step in the wrong direction...:
