I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find it doing a quick search...

I'm a huge fan of the old Sierra and SSI series. I know GOG has released a number of old Sierra and SSI titles, but several of my favorites are still not available online, and I want the world to know how awesome these old PC titles are.

Codename: Iceman, Manhunter 1 & 2, Laura Bow 1 & 2, Conquest of Camelot, and other Sierra titles...

Wizard's Crown, Shard of Spring, Questron 2, Phantasie 1 & 3, Demon's Winter and more...

I'm not sure if it's a copyright issue, a lack of interest, or lack of media. If it's the middle or latter, I have all of these original, boxed, goodies, and applicable hintbooks in great shape. If GOG ever needs a donation, I'd be glad to help.
Wait, you want to donate the games so that they become available to purchase on gog?
Yes, those games are not being sold here because nobody has managed to find a copy of them yet.

For what it's worth, high quality scans of manuals and goodies sold with the original games might be of interest for GOG should the games become available here. But even then they'd have to try and obtain the rights to them if they're not already part of the distribution deal...

That's very generous of you, but generally the issue lies with the person(s)/company(s) who own the rights, not GOG needing copies of games to put online. (However, if you have bonus content/"goodies" for games already on GOG, content that GOG doesn't have or is better quality than GOG has, you might contact them about that.)

In the case of the Sierra games, sadly - as many can attest - Activision seemingly doesn't care about their backlog anymore, to the point where we haven't gotten any new classic Acti games here in almost four years. I wouldn't get your hopes up, unless GOG is able and wiling to purchase the rights themselves.
You can donate your physical copies to me.
It won't get them on GOG, but I'd get a kick out of it.
+1 for your enthusiasm and generosity!

On a related note I'd easily donate some of my old games to see them become available on GOG. For starters, I have an original CD-ROM for Jazz Jackrabbit (including all of the the extra episodes), a CD-ROM for Jazz Jackrabbit 2, and a CD-ROM for LucasArts's classic, albeit much neglected, Yoda Stories.

For real? Always wondered why they did not released Iceman together with the PQ series.

Maybe gog should release a wishlist; for them :)
