OldFatGuy: You'd be surprised by the topic of conversations that come up when two or three of you are smoking a joint (or two, or three...) lol
True enough. :)

OldFatGuy: drinking water from a washing machine is mild stuff compared to some of them I've been involved in.

It kinda goes like this.....

We're down in a basement with no kitchen, bathroom or running water of any kind except into the washing machine. And playing computer games and partaking in a little weed when someone says

"I'm thirsty, but dayem I don't feel like going upstairs." And from there conversation jumps and continues... until finally the thirsty one goes upstairs and gets something to drink.
Reminds me of a story my dad(or mum) told me about a relative that had a cup of clear liquid downstairs and didn't know what it was and took a taste.....it was bleach.....luckily they didn't drink much and spit the bit they did drink back out.

sanscript: And you can even find a decent copy on torrent (fully updated and pre-tweaked) nowadays... Just pair it with https://tinywall.pados.hu/ for better/easier firewall control (even works on win10), and you're good to go.
Or just go to the handy windows seven forums and use a tool like this one that will get all the official updates (minus the spyware), for your official Windows 7 and create your very own windows 7 Sp3 iso image to burn to usb/DVD etc:

I've been doing customizing, mirroring and unattended installs since before WinXP and sometimes you don't need to re-invent the wheel every time ;)

Indeed. For the OP however the link i gave will create a fully legit and (most importantly!) updated build of Windows 7 in bootable iso form you can keep to ensure Windows 7 ives beyond EoL.

The image is too big for a regular DVD-RW mind, you need to use a Double Layer DVD (DVD-R-DL) or USB stick larger than around 7GB.
