Is it possible to buy a game code and gift it to somebody to redeem it?

I know you can buy a game as a gift, but the recipient gets the game to redeem immediately. I would like to gift it at a certain date.

Not sure if it's possible though...

You can enter your email and you will get the code to redeem, after that you can send the key to whoever you want whenever you want.

You can buy the game as a gift on your own email, and send the gift code you received to that somebody at a later date.
