Will gog also get Bubsy today?
I hope not.

You want GOG to get Bubsy on the Star Wars day?
Imagine nothing but Bubsy getting released today. That would be PAWful.

IronArcturus: Does no one remember the horror of Bubsy 3D? :P
I do. I was curious about it, so I bought the PS1 disc and played it on PS3. The movement controls were awful. If I were a man of pure spite, I'd actually wish for it and Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) to be re-released on PS4 during a dry spell of games sometime before the PS5 is released.
Bubsy 1 and 2 were okay. I do have to wonder about the Atari Jaguar installment, though. If Bubsy gets released on here, I'd recommend GOG try to get Animated series pilot as a bonus.

With all the good games GOG could possibly sell instead, people might genuinely start rioting in the streets... or atleast some will (namely those that had the "honour" to receive Bubsy 3D as a gift when they were kids...)

Edit: Well, atleast it's only the first 2 games, though I'm still rather unsure if it's such a good idea, afterall, I don't remember them ever being hugely popular, just somewhat average at best... let's just hope Bubsy 3D won't get a remake/remastered too

No Bubsy on gog it looks like. :(
Not today. Maybe in the future, though. I believe Anodyne was the same way.
*Sigh*

That stupid cat escaped his cage? Well put it on it's leash and bring it out back... I'll go grab the shotgun.
Who's Bubsy? Why is he only on Steam?

Yep, another stranger that I'm not interested in talking to. I remember one of the first things my parents told me: Don't talk to strangers. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight? Right? Right?! Right!
I don't think I'll try it. I have some rather pleasant memories of Bubsy and I would prefer them unspoiled.

Just when I thought this couldn't be any more pointless, it turns out this Bubsy release is just a crappy emulation via SNES9X.

It gets better. They apparently didn't get permission from all people involved in SNES9x.
If it was Super Bubsy be re-released that would be one thing, but the games emulated in SNES9x?

I will give the team behind this re-release credit, they are staying true the the Accolade spirit by doing a somewhat pointless and soulless release of Bubsy in the modern era.
Oh, oh wow.

Also they're using an even more outdated version of an already dated emulator? That's amazing. V1.43 doesn't even have the quality sound core of the recent versions.
