Shortly after the release of STALKER 2 I requested a refund.

On the 30th of November the refund was approved and the game was immediately removed from my library.

Today is the 18th of December, and despite several emails to support, I still have not received my refund.

It is unacceptable that a so-called "professional" company could take so long to issue a refund. There is no excuse for not refunding my money at the same time the game was removed...ffs, even STEAM refunds your money as soon as the refund is approved, as does Epic.

Do better GoG, or risk losing a customer.

Did you request refund back to wallet (this should happened instaneously) or back to original payment method?

If back to original payment method:

<Cash refunds can take a few business days, depending on the exact payment method used, your bank, etc. There are some exceptions, such as paysafecard, SOFORT, and GiroPay - for technical reasons, these transactions need to be fully processed before they can be refunded; this can take up to a few weeks.>

- if any of the boldended payments method was used the FAQ already states that that might require several weeks.

I requested it to be refunded to the original payment method, which is PayPal.

In any case, it is all besides the point. The point I'm getting at is that there is no excuse for such a long waiting time.

Besides STEAM and Epic being able to instantly refund to PayPal and other payment methods, pretty much every other business can too.

Amazon issues a refund as soon as the return item gets scanned at the post office. If it's a private seller, then it gets issued the day they receive the return.
eBay is not much different. Last month I ordered from eBay using PayPal, and the day before it shipped I canceled the order. The seller refunded my money on the same day.

As of now we are coming up on 3 weeks since my refund was approved.
