*sirens blaring*
- Commander, there are reports coming from the front - our troops are being attacked by forces from ANOTHER PLATFORM!
- Ah, at last! This is a glorious day indeed, soldier!
- Sir?
- It means the Blitzkrieg Anthology & Blitzkrieg 2 Anthology have received the long-awaited update which allows for cross-play with Steam. New challenges, new tactics, and new victories await! Prepare the men.
- We may need reinforcements, sir. The war has taken its toll...
- Not to worry, soldier, I've arranged for some new blood. See, both games are now 75% off until August 1st, 1pm UTC.
- Ah sweet! Time for someone else to do all the chores around her---
- So why don't you pick up that mop and make sure the barracks look spotless for their arrival, eh? There's a good lad.

vsr: "LAN legacy installer"s for both Blitzkrieg anthologies were added.
Thanks GOG and Nival Interactive!
Hi, Did you get the Legacy installers to work? Somehow I still cannot play LAN even using the Legacy installer version. Is there anything else I can do? I am really annoyed that I am no longer able to play LAN

Hello.
I've downloaded and tested English version of Blitzkrieg 1 (LAN Legacy installer) right now and it's working fine.
When you create a LAN game, a Windows Firewall window will pop-up in background - you have to ALT-Tab to it and allow network connections for Blitzkrieg.

I haven't tested the game with 2 players on LAN, because you need 2 computers to do it.
But I created a LAN game with ony 1 player in lobby (me) and it started fine, after game started I instantly won due to absence of other players.

I used Windows XP 32-bit, if it matters.

Interesting. I have two laptops so decided to use the English lan installer as well.
Have not been able to connect no matter what i tried. the firewall popup did appear on both laptops. I tried playing lan with the gog and steam version (i own the game on steam as well) and that works. Using only GOG does not work :(
