Thus are you waiting for it impatiently, do you think it's an heresy to make a sequel or you don't care because new movies suck anyway?
The latter. All "franchise" movies today are generally rip-offs. They tend to capitalize on nostalgia, showing elements from previous movies (especially true for Force Awakens which consists completely from New Hope material), but not able to offer anything new (again Force Awakens) or even capture "spirit" of the old media (Robocop, Star Trek).

Also the story in Blade Runner was hollistic and complete, so there is no need for something else. And if you want some more stories about human-android agenda there is plenty of them, including Total Recall 2070 series, that is basically Blade Runner series.

Yeah, it's just too bad that David Webb Peoples isn't involved this time around. Now, I haven't seen anything written by Michael Green but he better not be another Lindelof hack.

It's truly disappointing that Syd Mead wasn't hired for this project.

Some have the "happy ending" where Rick and Rachael are seen driving away. Some have the unicorn origami ending, heavily suggesting that Rick is also a replicant. Some have different voiceovers in places, and different dialogue between Rick and Roy. The Final Cut is the definitive edition, though.

Why not, at least it has Harrison Ford, well I would have liked that he was the main char.

Apparently there's very little of him in this movie at all. Which really sucks, even more so for me as I am no fan of Ryan Gosling

Breja: It looks like after Blade Runner (and of course, they are already talking about further sequels, because everything is planned as a fucking series nowadays) Villeneuve may direct a new adaptation of Dune. It's still early talks and all that, but he defiantely wants to do it, if he gets the chance.

Which, actually, I'm ok with. Like I said, I'd be ok with a new adaptation of Do Androids Dream rather than a Blade Runner Sequel, so yeah, a new adaptation of Dune - let's try. I don't belive for a second it will rival the Lynch version (which is deeple flawed, but still an amazing, epic, unique movie) but it might be something interesting in it's own right. Villeneuve wouldn't exactly be my first choice for the job, but hey, at least it's not Michael Bay :P
I'm actually betting it'll be a soft reboot like Force Awakens. In any case, given the track record for such movies so far (and while I like 2009 Trek and Force Awakens, they were arguably very divisive), I'm cautiously optimistic.

While the movie seems to go to great lengths to look the part, it could very well be just Villeneuve & co. trying too hard to have their movie look legitimate.

I am not against the idea of the remake in principle. But then, Ridley Scott is executive producer. This is the man who brought Prometheus upon us. Prometheus, people. P R O M E T H E U S.

I'll wait for a trusted tech commenter, to, er, comment. If it has no existential wangst ("baww I didn't crawl through a vagina", as opposed to "holy crap, I might be deprived of my rights for stupid and unfair reasons") I'll watch it.
