Probably my proudest moment would be when I first found diamonds in Minecraft.

Need I say more?
My proudest moment has to be when I finally beat Gannon on the very first Legend of Zelda. The only Nintendo was in my parent's bedroom so I could only play from the time I got home from school until my dad got home from work. No matter what I did I couldn't even hurt Gannon.

Back then we didn't have the internet to look up hints, so I wrote to the address on the back of the manual. I was sent two maps, one for each quest (which is how I found out there was a second quest) and the tip to pay attention to Gannon's pattern. I was also told that I had to have the last sword, which I hadn't found yet.

So I found the sword and the red armor and went to kill Gannon. I tried for two weeks and was destroyed every time. After the last defeat I spent the weekend thinking about it. Why do I need the sword if the silver arrows are supposed to kill him? And what does his pattern have to do with anything? Then I got an idea.

The next time I got to play I went at him with the sword. I somehow hit him after he disappeared and made him visible. I realized he was just becoming invisible and moving to the next spot. That was the key! Once I knew how I made quick work of him. A couple of my older siblings had been watching me play and they cheered! It was the first time they were proud of me for anything.

This was my proudest moment not because of the cool maps or even because I was the first of my siblings to beat Gannon (okay maybe a little because I was the first to beat him.) This was the first time that i really connected with those older siblings over anything. All my other accomplishments were viewed by them as an attempt to make them look bad somehow. This, however, was viewed as a team victory in a way because they were there to cheer me on. It brought us closer and gave us something in common.
The most memorable moment in gaming was when I received boxed Ultima Underworld I as a gift. After the 4th year of owning it, I finally completed playing it. It was a long road to completion but I did it. I also own it here on GOG.
My proudest gaming moment was when after practicing for 1 whole week i was able to resist the torture section of Metal gear Solid and meryl ended up with snake. Did not feel right to let her die!
Working my butt off and earning enough to buy the original Baldur's gate 2 back in 2000 then playing it until I learned every quest in every chapter over multiple playthroughs to the point where I could plan a playthrough from the very beginning in Irenicus' dungeon. Looking back it probably was more fun because I wanted it so much and had to earn money to get it myself.
My proudest moment was probably getting CAL-P in Counter-Strike 1.6...that or creating my first mod for Baldur's Gate (the original, 6CD) using only hexadecimal.
Thank you for the opportunity.
My proudest moment? Completing Metal Gear Solid on PS1, again, again, again.
Somehow the game never gets boring.
The satisfaction in completing it feels great.

Although that was my past, but I can never forget the moments.
My proudest moment was the first game I 100%ed (Skate 2)
Proudest gaming moment was when I won on the Rainbow Road at 150cc in the original Mario Kart Racing. Took forever and was the first time I successfully 100% a game.
I found it highly doubtful I’ll will or even that this so be read, but it’s been a lousy day at work and I figured “why not.”

I’m an original gamer from the era where playing video games was barely accepted, but enjoying them could quickly get you labeled as a “nerd, dork, etc.” Despite that nonsense, I definitely found value in gaming as an escape from a relatively rough upbringing. I don’t think I could necessarily hone in on a single date or event, but I can say my greatest experience with gaming is related to the ROTK franchise, specifically ROTK 1 on the original NES. The amount of strategic and tactical information required to survive in that game was ridiculous, even more so to win. I can tell you that the strategies and tactics I learned with that game at age 10 contributed to my success as a 21 year soldier. Learning how strategy can turn the tide of battle, even when significantly outclassed and outnumbered, led me to study the Three Kingdoms era of China, which further introduced me to the works of Sun Tzu and other renowned strategists. I guess if I were forced to pick a situation it was during a battle where my 50k troops were up against an alliance group attack of several rival factions that outnumbered my troops 5 to 1. Through the use of baiting strategies, feints, and tactical fire setting, I was about to capture the alliance rice storage which resulted in an immediate route and irreparable losses to my competitors. That has got to be it for me as I experienced joy in just my recall of this as I drafted this response.

Well, here’s to nobody ever reading this, but my sharing regardless.
Proudest momennt , what if there is no such one . Maybe when i beat a chess with rating 2300 .

My proudest gaming moment is also one of my fondest dad moments. When my daughter was small (around 3 or 4), i would play games on my PC with her sitting on my lap and helping. We played lots of games together, but our favourite was Mirror's Edge. We played that game all the way through several times and unlocked all the speedrun courses, she loved that it was like a rollercoaster. The proudest moment playing was the first time she was able to complete a track on her own. She was so excited and proud of herself, amazing moment.
Proudest moment was when I completed Gears of war 1 on Insane with my mate. Runner up is when my mate got a perfection on Halo 3 while I was driving the warthog. Both fantastic games.

Thanks for the chance! It’s nice to reminisce as well.
My proudest gaming moment?

For me I think it was the first time I finished Planescape: Torment -- I am not a very big gamer and I tend to lose interest in games, but the story in PS:T was absolutely riveting, and the fact that you could define the present of the character at the same time as you discover the past really spoke to me.

I've replayed the game many times and couldn't find its equal until I found Disco Elysium - which I, to date, have only played once, because I had to digest it, and I'm almost prepared for a second playthrough. :)
This is going to be a bit old school.

My proudest gaming moment was beating Ulima IV.

Long live Lord British!
