Being able to fix my 2nd Red Ring of Deathed Xbox 360 by dismantling it and baking the board in the oven. It was shortlived.

My proudest gaming moment was while playing GTA V I was stuck in the last level and almost played it a 100 hundred times still not able to clear that franklin part. Then Finally After a 3 hours of stucking into that level passed it.
Oh my, many many years ago, finally beat a buddy of mine in Tekken 3, after trying and failing for years. Did not let me win, I properly earned it. That moment of realising the reality of having got so much better and having improved through training, yeah that was it.
My proudest gaming moment was probably when I turned a 3rd party wired xbox controller into a dedicated pinball controller.
I took a plastic storage container and wired two arcade buttons to the sides. These were then soldered to the shoulder buttons.
The best part was physically connecting an actual arcade thumper to the analogue stick via a rod.
And fitting a weighted rod to the other analogue stick so you can still nudge the table.
It works absolutely great and adds so much immersion to pinball fx 2 vr!
My proudest moment probably was the first time I beat Chrono Trigger on the SNES. My dog had just died that day, and I went to my half-brother's house, and brought the cartridge with me... At that time I had no idea I could beat the game, and then, almost like by surprise, I saw myself beating Lavos in all its forms...
Most recently my proudest gaming moment would be beating Halo 2 Anniversary on Legendary difficulty solo. I’ve been going through the MCC Collection and just have ODST and 4 to go!
Proudest moment was getting Halo 3 at the midnight release and playing all night, skipping school the next day, while consistently failing most of my classes already. Didn't get to play it for about a month after that since I was grounded all the way to China. Worth it.
I barely played at all for a few years, until my daughter was born 2 years ago. She slept uneasy the first few months so we had to watch over her at night. I started playing some old games then bought Horizon Zero Dawn. With her sleeping beside me I played through it beginning to end with every side quest along the way. Sweet memories will forever be tied to Aloy’s adventure.
I am extremely proud of having completed every main quest in The Witcher 3, and managing to save Sylvia's life in the end of Blood and Wine.
Mine is 2 fold. 1) I was watching my son desperately try and catch a specific Pokemon on his 3DS. Jokingly I asked "You want me to catch him?". My son, utterly frustrated (and probably suspecting there was no way I could), handed me the DS and showed me what I was supposed to be doing. I caught it first try. Just to rub a little salt in the wound I asked "You need me to catch any more?" 2) Years later, I was in the frustrated seat trying to take out Artorias from Dark Souls. After swearing at the monitor for over an hour, my son asked if he could give it a try. I figured, why not? Handed him the controller, and he absolutely decimated Artorias. He hands me back my controller and says "You want me to catch any more?" Proudest moment of my life. Ahhhh. good times.
The time I flipped Galaga on a quarter and played until the game room closed and cut power to all the machines. Did not even get to put my name in .
Beating the nameless king with a friend after all night of failures it was awesome
Making a fully automated end game factory in Factorio to produce every item in the game, and launch rockets. Robots were fully taking care of the repair of the defences and I had a full fortress all completely automated.
Beating dark souls 3 dlc. It was really hard for me first go around.
I've been computer gaming for a very long time (35-ish years) and many of my proud moments are lost like tears in rain. However, recently a moment stood out and that was when my 6-year old legitimately beat me at Mario Kart.
