There is no Anniversary Party without a contest and a challenge! Imagine a double vinyl album with the music of Heroes of Might Magic III, released as a double 12-inch vinyl disc (180-gram LP) packed in a gatefold jacket with antistatic sleeves. Each side of the cover presents stunning artwork by Magdalena Katanska, printed in high quality with several embellished elements. Picturesque enough to join our contest?

We've teamed up with Gamemusic for this challenge! All you have to do is to recommend a coop game to play during our Anniversary Party.

The best answer will win a limited HoMM III original soundtrack vinyl, the Heroes Pack with 5 HoMM games, and the Game Changers Pack including Prey, No Man's Sky, Disco Elysium and Beautiful Desolation.

Submit your entries before October 8th, 3 PM UTC. Terms and conditions apply. You can check them in the first comment on the forum.
I`d suggest Heroes of Might and magic III because is the best game forever but is older than me
Easy, playing Baldur's Gate 1&2 with 5 friends is perfect as there is no need to use the pause button if you wanna play a full caster party, which makes the whole adventure more dynamic than ever ! At least, I had fun doing so back in the days they were released. We were D&D and Vampire the Masquerade afficionados when BG was released, we were high in the sky with dragons.

And if people are not up for coop, let's get the worms ready for ARMAGEDDON !

I'd have to say Fallout 76, despite the fact that it's not specifically a co-op game, but it does have great co-op features. Even though it had a rough launch and got a load of criticism, it has always been a fantastic experience to play with friends. There really isn't anything out there that's quite like playing with friends as you sweep across a diverse wasteland, taking in the ambiance while fighting (for survival early on, for fun later on) and scavenging, so that you can build your home and truly live in the post-nuclear wastes.

I always encourage people who have never played it to ignore the hate and give it a go, especially if they love Fallout or open world games. I also encourage people who played it early on to give it another chance because it has improved so strongly since it came out. It literally has everything a Fallout fan could want, while also giving you the chance to explore, build and quest with friends.
Well, there is a wonderful and a bit older gem named Krater, made by Fat Shark.

I really liked just about everything it had to offer: it's a delightful mix of isometric RPG, real-time tactical gameplay, true sandbox, loot, equipment crafting, a little different (of the positive kind) directing of some quests, game feel, etc.
The game world It is wrapped in stands at the fun side of quirky, is visually great for both its time of release and considering it is not a AAA from a one of the titan gaming companies, humorous and generally curios.

To me, coop is where Krater flourished because when you play it with 2 friends, in this game world and game content, combined with a squad based mechanics that is kind of both flexible and hilarious at the same time... well, we had a fun and hopefully you would too :-)

Oh, and no bugs.

Cheers :-)
Heroes of Might and Magic III, hot-seat of course.

Or Diablo II.
The Yawhg is a great coop game. Dark and serious, but also silly and ridiculous. The gameplay is accessible and a lot of fun in a small group.

AGE OF WONDERS!

I prefer the original, but Shadow Magic is good as well.

Split your team up into groups and assign each group a race from the 15 or 16 races in the game.
You could split those groups into sub groups and assign them to certain cities on the map...
You could have a giant AOW tournament.
Thats my 2 cents.
That would rock.
Heroes of Might and Magic 3 hot-seat for me. My friend and I played many co-op games together, but my fondest memories are with this game. We would both sit shoulder to shoulder in two chairs. I would almost always play the Dungeon and she the Undead, occasionally branching out to the other factions, but those were our favorites. We would play so late that in the early hours of the morning wizards would be called lizards and the leprechaun dancing would drive us nuts.

My Magic from the Mana Vortex would be so strong that attacking enemies would rarely be successful in getting into my Dungeon. One time it was just me and a couple Medusas and troglodytes left being attacked by a Barbarian town. Luckly they had no flying units. I was terrified and my friend said to look over my spells. Going through the list we noticed the Berserk spell. My friend smiled and we watched as the Ancient Behemoth took out most of its own army, along with my spell power, of course.
Hmmm Keep talking and no-one will explode is a different co-op game I guess
Snowrunner : slow, hard (even in co-op) but terribly addictive

Outward, obviously! (Equip yourself with plenty of pizza and Dr. Pepper, first.)
How about Emperor of the Fading Suns? You can comp stomp together on that then duel at the end for control of the known worlds. Could be fun.
I challenge you to, as a group, play let's go pikachu! on switch and collectively catch them all, with trading, in a single night. All starting from a fresh game. Use as many copies of the game and switch as you can. I don't think it's possible?
CO-OP Game recommendation: Streets of Rogue! ... it's a riot with multiple players.
Thinking back to my younger years (Hey, I'm not that old!) I really loved playing through the System Shock 2 story in co-op with my brother and cousin.

Creepy, freaky, maybe a little janky... but oh so intensely fun.

We would have LAN parties on the weekend. I'd bus across town with my PC on my lap and would plug into a crappy old CRT they kept around just for that purpose.

Lots of good memories.
