I'm in Brazil and GOG's somehow popular in here. Heard about GOG back in 2008 but I was addicted to (yup) Gametap and Steam (been there for almost 13 years now) at the time. But then 5 years ago it all changed to me.
There's no such thing as anti-drm feeling in here, be sure of that. 100% localized games are a huge plus - they always were- but the biggest issue is the currency atm, since criminals f**ked up one of the world's leading economies, reducing it to almost ashes.
We're struggling in here witth -4% gdp. Lotsa important folks behind bars, "our" "leader" on the verge of being impeached (we did it in 92 and it turned out pretty ok, afterall it's a democracy), immense scandals on a daily basis and so on.
Well, damn lucrative market if you ask me. Pc gaming has never been more popular, bet on it. But the pc market is shrinking fast, while mobile is growing up like crazy. World thing, probably,
