BF2Hub is site that is keeping BF2 multiplayer stats if you have BF2. FYI.

Linux question: I installed BF2 and BF2Hub in WinXP. When booting up Linux to play BF2 through BF2Hub it works just as well as in XP, except when clicking "Join Game" to get into a multiplayer game it just freezes. I think there may be an error in the background too but I can't see it. Any idea what the problem might be?

Battlefield 2? Heh, I have that one but never played against humans. The last patch(es) introduced a lot of small annoying bugs. I feel too old and too slow to play against humans but still curious.

Yeah, in Linux I can play SP but MP crashes upon clicking "Join Server". :S

I put Wine into Windowed mode hoping to see what the error would be. I get the standard wine "Program Error" pop-up with the "Show Details" and "Close" buttons.

Any ideas??

Maybe try running it from terminal? Perhaps wine will write something to terminal when it crashes
