I would think a really, really IMMERSIVE RPG would be epic when high. Bethesda's titles come to mind here... particularly Morrowind and Oblivion (and Skyrim if using Steam). Note I haven't actually tried it with those Bethesda games but I did experience Two Worlds (the first one) after smoking a joint once and that was pretty darn epic.

Yep, gotta agree with that. But I wouldn't recommend any kind of RPG when drunk.
Russian roulette is a classic to play when pissed or high. A stupid game where you cannot win, only avoid losing for a while. Do not try it!
I would think something like Mirror's Edge would be pretty interesting to play under the influence. Especially if you experience vertigo in games.

From what I've seen and heard of Vangers, sounds like drunk / high is the intended way to play.
While high/drunk... Hmmm...

Something simple and with colors, and far less with fast movement....

So... Child of Eden? Perhaps Panzer Dragoon games? Orta perhaps?
I could never play drunk, maybe buzzed
Something easy and fun.
Maybe that spongebob game. Or those lego games.

Unless you're a coordinated stoner. Then those flashy rhythm music games might be awesome.
I used to play smash bros with people whilst on stuff, made me concentrate hella hard.

Honestly though it probably depends on what you like. If you can somehow enjoy reading a ton while messed up, i'm sure you can just play a good rpg.
Shall We Play a Game?

I don;t drink. Even if I wanted to, it would throw off my meds.
