3.3 Your GOG account and GOG content are personal to you and cannot be shared with, sold, gifted or transferred to anyone else. Your access to and use of them is subject to GOG’s rules which are set out here, as updated or amended when necessary.

Best to contact GOG's support (or legal) department about this. And consult a lawyer yourself, of course. (I would guess GOG's answer would be "No", but there might be laws in place in your region that would contradict that stance.)

EDIT: Common sense would also indicate that, whatever GOG's official position, as long as the person to whom you bequeathed your account doesn't use it to post as "you", but only to download games that you purchased but are (obviously) no longer able to use, and as long as they don't distribute any of those games beyond their household, it should be OK.

Yeah, perhaps it's not possible officially, but you kmow what you can do? Bequeath your password and email with instructions on how to log into GOG.
You could sell it to swatkat. :D

That went over so well the last time.

You can't legally transfer your account. You can however pass over your backup hard drives that you keep all your downloaded installers (which of course you do as matter of rote) over as part of your belongings, sorted!

What can GOG do about it if you decide to give your credentials to someone else after you kick the bucket? I mean, unless they have some sort of ageing system to all accounts that will just delete any account older than 100 years (not that GOG will be around for that long)
GOG probably doesn't want the hassle of dealing with legal matters and verifying death certs & such.
It's another avenue for fraud / identitytheft, and very time consuming (and thus $$$).

Most people wouldn't ask this on the forum, they'd just hand the account details over along with special instructions on its usage. And seriously, don't ask what instructions. It's against the rules, and this is GOG's forum.
I'd be careful because Gog send out officers to random accounts held by people just to check up on these sort of rorts.Apparently the fine is 0.1 cent or and including jail time of up to three days. But,seriously you will incur more trouble just by asking the question when all you had to do was pass on the password to someone else in the family,Mum's the word:)
