I don't know if anyone has played these but I recently got the disks. Has anyone ever got them running on Windows 10 64-bit? I can get Beach Head 2002 to run but the mouse is all messed up, spinning around, among other issues. Beach Head 2000 just crashes in general. Yes, I've tried compatibility mode, run as admin, etc. As simple as these games are I think it would be fantastic if they made their way to GoG. But if anyone got them running, please share.

You mention compataibility mode and run as admin. Did you try the 640x480 mode, and to limit the numbet of colors ? Idem with the scaling ?

I'm pretty sure the support page ( on Atari ) will not be available anymore. You could still try to drop a mail at help@fusiongames.com, but that's a bit of a bottle in the sea ...

Just tried it for both games. Beach Head 2002 only sometimes works with and without 640x480 enabled. Beach Head 2000 always crashes. BH.exe is always crashing upon launch. Always. I even ran that as admin, 640x480, compatibility, etc.
for BH2000, you might be running, I am afraid, into the tricky issue of trying to get 16 bits era code work on 64 bits systems. Your OS simply doesn't have any support for this.

You could try running BH2002 in an XP virtual machine, but you'd need to have an XP licence at hand. One solutuion for that is : https://www.virtualbox.org

Not much else I see as a solution. Although they are planning a release of the BH games collection ( probably recompiled to run on modern OS's ) on Steam at some point since the games are still in demand on the Chinese market.

Adding to that: If a second license for a 32-bit Windows isn't available, it might be worth trying - or even a Linux distribution (say, [url=https://linuxmint.com/edition.php?id=220]Mint), as Wine may be able to run the game.

If there's talk of them coming to Steam I can wait. I have a legit copy of XP but I don't feel like going through the hassle of setting up a VM.

Hey Everyone, Pepe Moreno here, president of Digital Fusion.. just wantd everyone to know that this is NOT a fake acct and it has no connection w/ DH. The reason no one has heard anything from us at DFI since the mid 2000's was due to a battle with Infogrames/Atari over the rights to BEACH HEAD.. but within the past year we have reacquired our TM and have plans to launch all new games etc. within the BEACH HEAD Brand. Please bare with us as we will be updating everyone as news becomes available, and please don't knock these BEACH HEAD games until you have played them, they are still as fun to play now as they always were. These games being added to STEAM is a big part of history and just trying to allow all generations of gamers, past, present and future to be able to play all the great games that have ever been made. The BEACH HEAD games were the top played arcade games for 3 years in a row and have continued to be some of the most pirated games in places like China.
