People that send group emails using CC instead of BCC.

Depends on whether the addresses should be visible or not. Yes, it does add quite a bit of length to the message, but that is usually less than what's added when one doesn't trim the "original message" in the body.

What bothers me the most regarding e-mail is the following:

1. HTML e-mail, especially when it comes without a text version. (The e-mail client I use, mutt, doesn't do HTML.)

2. Large attachments, especially for information that could comfortably be represented as text and pasted directly into the e-mail body. (All my e-mail passes through a postfix install on my local machine when retrieved via fetchmail (whose author isn't a good person, but that's another story), and it has a 10MB limit by default; if e-mail is bigger than that, I have to temporarily change the limit, at which point I may mention the problem to the sender.)

They never should be visible unless it's a private closed TRUSTED group. Otherwise most of the time you end up on someone else's spam... I mean mailing list. Huh? Who removed Doctor Who and from where?

BBC removed Doctor Who from all streaming services in anticipation of releasing its own.

The worst e-mail sin is putting the entire text of the previous e-mail (and, if successive senders keep doing it, all the previous messages in the conversation) in your new one. Why Microsoft and other e-mail software makers started making this the default is beyond me, and it appears people are too lazy not to do it.

See, for me it is the other way round. While for private e-mail it usually doesn't matter, back when I was working as a data analyst I'd consider it one of the worst sins not to include the text of the previous e-mail. I'd be emailing hundreds of customers and co-workers and nothing was worse than getting an e-mail like "Sure, that's a good idea. Include it too." from someone and then me having to dig and search for previous correspondance to see what they're talking about.

About bcc and cc, it really depends on the situation. Again at work I'd often have to e-mail person X and make them aware that people Y and Z are also kept informed of the situation. bcc'ing won't do then.

Like I said on a post above, yes it's ok and maybe necessary for closed, trusted groups. But when an idiot sends an invite to a photography exhibition to everyone on his contact list on CC, well... let me get my flamethrower. And I just know I'm now on some other idiot's mailing list who thinks we have something in common (perhaps art or whatever).
