Barefoot_Monkey is really amazing, and too modest - just look at all the fixes he made with v.2.1.1 - 2.1.3, all in one day.

HypersomniacLive: I think I got to a point where I got a somewhat satisfying result with a working Barefoot Essentials and my userstyle.
.is-active looks better with a drop shadow instead of a drop glow. Also, I decided I prefer the reverse gradient only on hover rather than hover & active.
Possibly stupid question: How do you manage the options in the script? I'm using the Blank Canvas Script Handler with Google Chrome.

There should be an entry "essentials" in the GOG navigation bar, in the Account menu.
So what do I need to do to make it work again on Chrome? I am missing it, having withdrawal pains LOL
Not sure if this is general bug or something going wrong on my end, so I need some feedback from others.

Let's say that I've set my library to "Shelf View". No matter which icon I click on in the Barefoot Essentials Library Menu, my collection opens in Shelf View (yes, even if I chose List View).
And vice versa - if my library is set to "List View", it opens to this view mode, regardless of which view I chose from within the Barefoot Essentials Library Menu.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Are you waiting for the extension? You could always install it as a script - Barefoot_Monkey provides detailed instructions for Chrome in the OP of this thread.

I'm getting this as well. It looks like I can fix it by changing the URLs of the icons from account/(list|shelf) to account/games/(list|shelf)

Expect a small update to fix this to arrive in about 8 hours from now.

Not sure how I missed that, but all is well now. Thanks for the help :)

Cheers, with the trouble I had at the beginning, I'm never sure if it's just on my end. :-)

I couldn't possibly let you suffer while everyone else is happily cruising the site, could I now? ;-)
For starters and once again, a big thanks to Barefoot_Monkey.

Now, a question; is there a way to quickly know how many games we have in our library? Before the site's redesign, I recall that Barefoot_Essentials did show that number on the top of the shelf, but now, I see nothing and I can't seem to find any option to enable this.

From Essential's Changelog of ver. 2.1:
"The feature to force your library to display your game count even when there are no games new/updates is also temporarily removed".

Meanwhile, there is a clumsy way and that is getting your shelf and wishlist into MaGog (takes a few seconds), then filtering by My Tags = owned. You may get a slightly different count than you would get from GOG (because, for example, GOG counts cognition as 4 games).

I am sure Barefoot will add the feature back when he has time.

Well, I should learn to read changelogs more thoroughly in the future. Thanks for the info.
When in the home page the icons that link directly to your shelf either in grid or list mode do not appear (for me at least).

That was the case for me for a while yesterday, but now it's OK. Make sure you have the latest BE (ver. 2.1.3).
