I bought the Bard' Tale Trilogy last month and only downloaded the offline version until today. For my utter surprise, today I found out that even in the online version there is only the first part available. I thought it was a limitation of the offline version I dowloaded or that maybe it was still too early, ever since it says that part 2 would be ready in Fall 2018. Well, as far as I am aware we're already in Fall 2018...can anyone from GOG please comment upon this? Any idea when part 2 will be available?
BT2 isn't available yet -- exact date TBA. According to my crystal ball, it might be released sometime this month... maybe.

Hmm . You spent €12.49 for a not finished game while you can buy The Bard's Tale https://www.gog.com/game/the_bards_tale for €8.69 . This game also includes The Bard’s Tale 1, 2, and 3.
Still wonder how this isn't classified as inDev or something since the second and third titles of a TRILOGY are not available. Why call it Bard's Tale Trilogy if it is just the first part? And no overt indication that this is the case from the storefront, which if you choose you can buy the game straight from there. It's disingenuous to call this a trilogy at this time.

As rule of thumb, when publishers/sellers use time of season, quarter of year or year itself as ETA for release it means anywhere during that time, not at the start of it.
So Fall 2018 can mean the 20th of December as well as the 1st of October.

"Fall 2018" should only go up to 30th November. At least, in Australia, the 1st December is the first day of summer, so I assume in the northern hemisphere it's the first day of winter... (Technicalities aside, I agreed with your point).

No. Winter Solstice.

Should be an update next week.

Because the first game is fully playable and you don't have an access to those that are in development. All of the games are their own entities, not parts of a one, larger title. In development titles are games, that are released incomplete, missing many features and content. The development process aims to complete that one game whereas in this case, they are just completing two other games in the trilogy while people can play the first game to the end.

The entry is listed as trilogy, not monology. The other two chapters of this single entry (which open from a single ingame menu making them all part of the same game) are in development and are not yet released. I bought it to specifically play BT3, and that wasn't available. And since I only found out after it was downloaded, no refund option was available to me. Yes, I'm pissed that I blew part of my gaming budget for the month on a game I can't even play, because there was no indication on the storefront that this was an episodic release, or an in development title.

You should have read the store page then. As far I remember it was always stated there, that only the first game is available at first. So if you want to blame someone, look in the mirror.

I wasn't blaming anyone. I bought a game I knew would work on my system without reading the store page because it was faster and easier. NO WHERE on the storefront, where it is possible to add to cart and pay without seeing the store page, was it indicated that the title was lacking, incomplete or otherwise devalued by not being in a finished state. If it was my fault for using a feature GOG provided me in the manner in which they intended it to be used, then I take the blame. But I would not have bought an incomplete game, which a game title TRILOGY is when it has only the first of three parts. It should have a label of inDev, or be called monology until more of the game is released, or better yet, don't release incomplete shit until it is FINISHED.
If a game is not complete, it should be clearly indicated in the store page. Maybe not with an "in development" title but with a big sign that says that not all content of the game is offered now. A customer shouldn't have to read the whole product description to find out.
