As you’ll probably remember, we used to have Frictional games (Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Penumbra Collection) a while back, and then we didn’t. Well, as so many of you wanted to see them around again, we’re bringing them back - and they’ll be here to stay, regionally priced - as there was no other choice in this case - and with our Fair Price Package!

Of course, if you had either title (or both) on your shelf already, they’re still safely there and you can download and play them anytime!

Amnesia is currently available only for Windows, but you can get Penumbra Collection for Windows or Mac.

Both games will be on the Winter Sale and they may appear on flash sales too for even better deals - so if you don’t have the game yet, make sure to watch our site for promo updates. :)
Cool. Perhaps GOG could bring a few select, newer Nordic games to be regionally-priced. (I'm mainly thinking of Titan Quest.)
Sweet! It's great to see good titles return to their rightful place :)

Don't give up on Fallout please!!
Nice!

I'm not completely sure that bringing back an eight year old and a five year old indie game regional priced is really good news. Seems to be another sign that sooner or later the whole catalogue (including the old games) will become regionally priced.

My thoughts exactly.

And why is this thread not a NEWS thread?
Given that regional pricing doesn't seem to be going away, I believe having more games is the best course to pursue. So thanks for bringing these back, and I hope it means we will see further returns, as well as other releases that were previously disqualified.

How dare you?
Losing games and then bringing them back later with regional pricing is amazing!
Best news in an epic week with huge new releases and abundant sales.
This show us once more how hard you guys work. Thank you!
Cool beans! No 'Machine for Pigs' though? Did GOG have that one before? I can't even remember now...
Oh, wait, that one never left did it! Doh!

And that's how you turn the public reaction to introducing games with regional pricing from "a massive backlash" into "good news" (nomen omen). Well done!

True that. Nowadays good news for customers seems to be losing a little to corporations instead of losing much.
