It could happen since it's using EOS for online, which a few GOG games also use. However, it would probably cause an uproar because multiplayer would make the game DRM for some users.

It seems that way. From my understanding the game has no LAN coop.

No prob, got a big backlog anyway. As long as Space Marine 2 EVENTUALLY gets here, I'm ok. That's the price for the idea of DRM-free... And I pay it gladly. Don't care about MP.
