I noticed some people seemed to have been having trouble updating or making changes to their GOGmixs, but i was still able to access them. I had a few GOGmixes bookmarked and now they all seem to lead to a 404 error. Is that just on my end or is everyone else getting that too? Or did GOG delete all GOGmixes completely recently and i just didn't get the memo?

They are dead, Jim. The only small hope is Linko's post:

Thanks for the link. Hopefully they come back in some fashion.

I seriously hope they weren't stupid enough to delete them. I never created any, but some people spent quite a number of hours building and maintaining them over the years, and it would be a shame for them to have to start from scratch whenever the "new and improved" GOGmixes go live (another two or three site redesigns from now, no doubt).

Hope and GOG aren't a particularly good fit.

The Wayback Machine could potentially salvage some of the more popular GOGmixes (mine did, at least). The rest, well, maybe they are dust in the wind now.
