Alright... a promo code for people who don't own the game, I could have understood... but only for some people... awesome... *sigh*

From some other info posted somewhere there - it seems that the second condition was "bought nothing during the last sale". So if you participated in Winter Sale, now you know the answer.

fables22: If the game you're talking about is Neverwinter Nights 2, then that was definitely genuine. Although due to an error on our side, even a few people who already own the game received the mailing, despite it being initially intended for people who only own Neverwinter Nights 1. Admittedly that made it look a little dodgy :(
It's good to have this confirmed as the mail seemed quite suspect - is there a special reason as to why it was sent from "newsletter=gog.com@cmail20.com" instead of the usual "newsletter@gog.com"?
