Have you checked the game specific forum yet? It's . There's a decent chance you might an answer there, as it seems there are at least a couple threads about your problem there (depending on your system specs). If you can't find an answer, be sure to post your own question/problem there, and an Arcanum player may be able to help. Successfully installed in on 7 literally minutes ago. NPC voices hadn't worked so I messed around with sound settings and reinstalled as admin and something must've helped.

Uninstall and reinstall in a different folder (i.e. not default).
