It's been 9 days since I attached my Steam account to GOG. My profile has always been public. I still get the message that they're connecting my account. It seems many others in the GOG Connect thread have been able to get in fairly quickly.

I opened up a support ticket and the response wasn't exactly helpful. I've already missed the first batch of games, and with time running out, looks like i'll miss the second batch as well.

GOG's going to be pretty slammed while the sale's on, but since you already sent a ticket, you have some proof of when you tried to connect. When things quiet down, perhaps GOG can get things figured out. Not much else you can do. Hopefully GOG will be able to hook you up with the games you missed.

Have you used VPN? Some folks tried it and connected their account with Steam. You might want to give it a try:
