"Sheltered" is an early access game on Steam, and I'm loving it! <3 It's a post-apocalyptic survival game without zombies. You loot places for materials to upgrade your shelter, trade, fight, or recruit other survivors. Each time it is a randomly generated map with randomly generated loot, and it is so addictive. Each time I die, I think "I know what to do better next time!" I've sunken 25 hours into it and it doesn't even feel like it.

Of course, as an early access there are still bugs and features they want to add (they just released an update, and are very active in the Steam forum). I may do a Steamgift giveaway of this game if enough people are interested to enter.

I know the game... its has been in developement , quite long, also take Crawl, this game is still to come, this game must be a heavenly masterpiece or so, cause this is the game that has been in development for a very long time.

At first sight it looks okay, i read that lots of 'people' die like crazy in that game...

first the requirements:(dual core for a simplistic pixel game? are they using some gamecreation tool that also requires a minimum core in order to run the game?

Why: Memory: 1 GB DDR2 RAM ? wont any modern type of ram do? how about this: i have not seen many of these notices: why would a simple game need some model specific
drivers for a GPU? i assume that would be because of the old gpu supported?

Team17: i know these guys since the old pc and Amiga, ( been gaming for 40 years so i have thousands of games played, read reviews in magazines (thats what we did befor the internet was here)played demos (we had a demo for every game , unlike nowadays were these are very rare(these might prevent people buying the game (thats what i read the devs claim) The game looks okay, but its so small, such tiny people, i guess i stick to big pixels and simple click and point games.

I saw this go up on the "Upcoming" list a few days ago and watched a few Let's Play type things of it. Looks good! Which is nice as the last game I was really looking forward to that is a bit similar was Cosmonautica, but the videos of that one (a game that SOUNDED perfect for me) kind of bored me to tears LOL.

Though I did almost lose my mind watching one of Sheltered. They little people KEEP SAYING "Fix The Air FILTER!!!" and the guys is totally missing it, continuing to do some other nonsense over and over again. I had to turn it off because I was about 10 seconds away from screaming at him through the scream, Sunday Sports style ;)

I too saw this in the "upcoming" tab and it looks interesting.

I keep confusing this game with "Shelter," that short but interesting game about being a mother badger.

This game looks good, though.
