Hi all. I see that it is a f2p game that you can get here - http://ghost-recon.ubi.com/ghost-recon-phantoms/en-US/sign-up/index.aspx

Anyhow. I'm not a big fan of the genre, so I don't know much about it. However I have the U-Play keys for the Complete pack, and the Phantom pack from the Humble Weekly. Was curious if anyone has played it, and knows if it's any good/ still playing it currently?
I've tried it once when it was still a recent release on steam. Although I no longer have the game, I enjoyed every second that I had wasted on that game.

There was a time when I decided to download the game for the third time (I guess), but refused to do so because of the bad reviews that a bit overwhelmed the review section for the game on steam. Many said that it has become pay2win, etc. Another thing that the reviews did mention was that the things you buy in-game are not permanent, meaning they have a time limit of use. Please note that this feature has always been there since the beginning of the game. I just don't know why they complained about it so late.

That's interesting that items are on a time limit. It is probably implemented to keep all players at the same level for the most part. The humble bundle keys aren't for the Steam version though it's for Uplay. I played Child of Light through the Uplay drm it's not too bad, and you get in game perks for achievements which is pretty nice.

Oh I see. That's good to hear!

Although I do hope that you should give this game a try to see it from your own point of view, the choice is yours to make. The game Ghost Recon: Phantoms itself is all about teamwork, so you don't really need to worry about powerful guns, gears, etc., to make you progress further in the game. Good luck! :)
