sorry, my bad.

Hey everyone!

My name is Alex Nichiporchik and I run tinyBuild. Pretty sure you've all seen the discord post making rounds, where a company rep shares some views on piracy and DRM. Let me start by saying none of those views represent tinyBuild's position. What happened is that we didn't do proper training for our community management team on the subject matter, and the result blew up in our face.
Okay, so we can now say confidently that this person is indeed a spokesperson for the company... but s/he wasn't "trained properly" and these views do not represent tinyBuild's position. THEN, in the very SAME POST he (or maybe Alex is a she) says:

This doesn't explain DLC/OST missing though -- it's something we're in the process of fixing starting with Party Hard. First thing Monday we'll go through all builds on GOG and update them where possible.
LOL, which is another way of saying "Yeah, we haven't been updating all of our games but starting Monday we will." Which makes one wonder what the original spokesperson said that doesn't represent their views since, you know they weren't updating all of their games here at gog while they were at other platforms.

But, if they're sincere in their efforts moving forward, then that's good. I applaud them and THANK THEM. And I thank gog if they in fact helped move this effort forward. I would sure hope they did. Because that original statement almost basically accused gog of supporting/enabling piracy, which is not only ludicrous, but offensive (at least to me if I were gog).

I will now go to my library and see which of the games I own are still behind in patches. If they're all good then I do indeed applaud tinyBuild and thank them sincerely. I hope we can do business in the future.

And now I get to buy Supraland here... yippee! That game looks amazing to me as far as taking you back to some of those really fun adventures on the old Nintendo... Zelda sort of like stuff. And it looks very well done too. It just really looks good, I hope it's as good as it looks. lol

And the very first game I checked... The Final Station appears to not include a patch from AUG 2016 that Steam has.

Version 1.5.2
We fixed crucial bug which messed up weapon upgrades purchase.
Also a few minor bug fixes
Gog version showing up in my library is 1.5.

I'll try this for the link but don't know if it will work:

I'm not criticizing though... if they're sincere in their efforts moving forward then it's probably safe to assume they'll get to all of them eventually. If they don't, then we'll know it later. I sure hope they are. I think some of their games are pretty darned good.

I'm just happy you are happy now.

BTW did you check the what's updated thread on gog? They might be up to the latest version for that game but gog might've rounded the number to 1.5 for some reason, is what i'm trying to say here.

I don't think so. I just ran the game and it shows on the game screen 1.5. That is usually the correct version of what in fact is installed. I don't own the Steam version so I can't say for sure whether the Steam version shows 1.5.2 but if I were a betting man I'd bet it did.

But I think they deserve some time to get all of this sorted out as they did sound sincere and I'm wishing for the best.

The same patch is here as 1.5, it just doesn't have the .2 at the end.

1. Well that sucks...hopefully they correct it soon.

2. Yeah I'm hoping so too.
