I'm pretty poor but I'd really like to get one, something decent size so I can play the keys (small ones are hard for me) that I can plug my headphones into and learn to play. If anyone can help me find something or offer advice that'd be amazing. Used and old are both very fine with me if you want to suggest old models..
If interested in used you should look around for them then research if they would be something for you then test it. I have a theory that a too complicated model will hinder your creativity, which flows best when you have to try to get around the limitations of your instrument.
No, but there's this guy…
Proper synthesizers are expensive.
Maybe a midi keyboard and a free software synthesizer would be good place to start.

- What do you want to do with it? Just learn learn how to play? Make your own sounds? Make your own songs?

- If you just want a cheap keyboard with any built-in sounds for learning how to play (NOT a synthesizer):
Get a Yamaha PSR or PSS or Casio or ...something... you'll find them second hand, probably for around 5$ or more.

"Poor" is relative, but here are some annotations:

A normal sized keyboard has 88 keys, there are models with less (61, 49, 32, 25).
--- Less keys (usually) makes the models cheaper, but of course it also limits your tonal range.

Normally, a piano has weighted keys (= you feel some "resistance" when pushing the keys).
--- Cheaper models don't have weighted keys...makes playing "emotionally" a little harder.
--- However, some models have something called "velocity sensitivity".
--- That's almost a must, because otherwise you'll never get the right "feeling" in your play.

There are so called (Master-) keyboards and Midi-keyboards without internal soundprocessors, which are (again: usually) cheaper than their full-fledged synthesizer-brothers.
--- You'll need some (free) DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)/Sequencer to make actual use of these.

If you want to dip your toes into (cheap) digital recording with some cheap keyboard, I would probably recommend getting something like this:

https://www.amazon.de/MAGIX-Software-Music-Maker-Keyboard/dp/B07FQDMPWT/ref=pd_sbs_65_3/260-6706604-4350112?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07FQDMPWT&pd_rd_r=dca3c224-13cc-4976-8fb3-8f9c08538a8c&pd_rd_w=Mfsuc&pd_rd_wg=aqNtr&pf_rd_p=74d946ea-18de-4443-bed6-d8837f922070&pf_rd_r=JQ55W57G55RSRZY708NM&psc=1&refRID=JQ55W57G55RSRZY708NM

(though I don't know, if they sell the complete package in the US)

The keyboard in this bundle is the "Miditech Midistart Music 49" (you may have guessed it: the 49 is the number of keys).

Good luck, and have fun...
There are no cheap copies in this category, but there are good and very good ones, high-quality and not so good. The most important thing is to make the right choice. I made a mistake at first and the device died after a month of use, although I paid more than the required amount. Probably the cost of that device was extremely cheap, although it was sold at a high price. But now I finally found quality and affordable price at the same time, not cheap, but do not think that it is not available. Try going to https://i4studio.nl/moog-synthesizer and get acquainted with their product range

ScottPreot: In this case, there are no cheap tools, they are all expensive, in my opinion. How much money do you have in your pocket?
OVER 9000

The problem with those is they lack pitch bend or mod. Technically you could use a joystick or gamepad with some program to do the job.
