I sure do want them as much as I want them to release on gog.com

IronArcturus: Speaking of Saints Row, will we ever see SR IV on GOG?
They don't know. Gog don't know. Nobody knows. Its a forbidden question that shall not be answered by anyone and I now have to fear for my life of doing so.

amok: Why?
You have to repeat replaying all SR you can get your hands on till you know why ;)

RogueXanter: Silly fun is great but I would rather be fighting humans then aliens or demons. Bring back Septic Avenger as well. Maybe add an aerial version where you are flying a chopper and too.dumping it on your targets
Yeah Saints Row: The Third is kind of the perfect Saints Row video game, followed by Saints Row 2.

I don't really like the aliens and demons and too much silliness that Saints Row IV has and Saints Row: Gat out of Hell has.
I think SR3 was great and SR4 was also better than GTAIV (I haven't played V). I haven't yet played Gat out of Hell either. If they have some fresh ideas, then a SR5 would be welcome, if not, then maybe they should stop.
I like to see SR1 on PC. All SRs have a PC version except the SR1. :(

I wouldn't mind a return to the somewhat more serious Saint's Row 2.
You can never have too many games like GTA. Its not as if the market is flooding with them.
Apart from Saint's Row there's only Sleeping Dogs.
There are more Zelda, Baldur's Gate and Might & Magic "clones" than there are GTA clones, yet that does not seem to bother anyone.

I'm not sure where they can go with the series though, perhaps a reboot is the most likely way ?
And 'yes' I want a new city, its never fun when games re-use the city from a previous game.

That would be great and a revamped port of SR2 with the DLC included would be nice as well.
Yes Please.

I would not mind a revamped modern visuals Stillwater in the future. While Steelport looked much better at first glance SW felt more alive and diverse than SP. At least SR3 Steelport. Did it get pimped in SR4? Heard SR2 Stillwater was also much better than the SR1 one.
I got a bit sick of the direction that the series has taken since Saints Row: The Third. Unless they reverted back to the style of SR2, I doubt I'd be interested.

Agree. SR2 PC version needs a revision. DLCs + better porting.
I don't think that we need a new clone of GTA. An ideal Saints Row would combine the gameplay of SR2 and the insane fun of SR3 (no, not SR4 or Gat Out of Hell, as those are going way too far).

But to be fair, SR4 was the best superhero/supervillain game made in ages. Powers should look and feel spectacular (God, i miss City of Heroes).

As for Volition making a new SR game...Dunno. If they get back at being a mere clone of GTA, i will pass. Just look at Sleeping Dogs and how it got right the concept without becoming a simple clone (and we had plenty of those, if you are old enough to remember how many games tried to imitate the master and failed).

SR found its own identity, the over the top jokes, but lost in terms of gameplay. Bringing back the SR2 gameplay, toning down the jokes (not too much, but still, those needs to be toned down a bit) would result into something that might please both old and new fans. And we could use a new setting, something that wouldn't be Stillwater or Steelport.

And to be honest, would love to see a SR2 HD remaster that would add the missing DLC to the PC version.
