Ticked off that I could not access the sale on the last day. I had another 6 games in my basket that I wanted to purchase, I was waiting until towards the end of the sale to see if anymore games I wanted would go on sale , then I could just buy in one batch. . By the time I was able to log in the sale had just finished. A few people commented on Gog's Facebook Page about this and Gog suggested it was an ISP issue. NO IT WAS NOT!!!!
I was able to access you tube, face book and Google, just not Gog!! Funny how as soon as the sale finished we could access it again. To me that implies the site was clogged up with so many users that many could not get a look in. If we had stuff in our basket at the discounted price and could not access it due to this technical issue, it would be nice if Gog honoured it. Is that an unreasonable thought?

Granted, they announced on Friday that everything that was going on sale was up for grabs for about the last five days or so. Technical problems notwithstanding, you had plenty of time to buy the stuff you wanted.

It's not an unreasonable thought if GOG had a way to determine what was in your basket at the time. Not sure if they do or not, but if they don't then that means they'd just have to take your word for it (as well as everyone else's) I'm sure you can see the issue with that.

On a side note, I had no problems whatsoever accessing the sale on the last day. Probably too easy to access, actually, as I ended up buying even more games than I intended.

Why would they add more games in promo, in the last hours?
Not only would be cruel with goglins, it would also be something stupid.
Wait for the last hours, when a lot of people can't spend more $$$ in games, and a lot would also miss the surprise promo...

Only once did I have problems connecting to GOG.com getting a GOG bear staggering under the weight of Tellus but that was just a few days into the sale.

Well I have learned my lesson. Next time gonna grab straight away and not wait. So stupid!!! Obviously not well versed in sale protocol. I thought they added new ones every day, now I know towards the end they do not. Live and learn I guess
