It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Every time I choose to view a list of games, I have to change the order from "Highest Discount" to something useful, like "Highest Rating" or "Most Popular". The discount doesn't matter if the game is something that nobody is interested in. Then I have to disable "Show DLC", because the list is generally padded by dozens of DLCs for games I don't own. Then I view another category and have to set the options again.

Is there any way to save the viewer preferences, at least for the current login? The present defaults are useless, as I'm not going to buy the "almost free" games or DLCs for stuff I don't own purely on the basis of cost, and the defaults keep coming back with every new list I view. Good games with steep discounts will show up high on the other load orders anyway, rather than waste the viewer's time on stuff that needs to be practically given away because it's either badly outdated or just plain bad.

Honved2016: Any way to save store preferences?
No, unfortunately not.
I know this might not be what are you looking for but you can save

javascript:window.location.href=window.location.href+'?order=desc%3AreviewsRating';

as a bookmarklet and just click on it every time you're on a page with a list of games.

it will append ?order=desc%3AreviewsRating to the end of the url which will display the games sorted by rating.

You could set the options you desire and then save that as a Favorite or Bookmarked web page, and use that in future.
Yeah, the store page is hot mess. Here, try this lovely script that turns that mess into a data grid: https://github.com/ghorint2t/scripts/

You'll need something like ViolentMonkey.
